The drive from Venice typically takes two hours, though regional trains also service the nearby city of Belluno. From the Belluno station, a shuttle completes the final 45-minute leg of the journey into the mountains.

Alleghe serves as the most prominent town and occupies a position on the shores of a lake at the western edge of the ski circuit.
