Nassfeld, Mokrine

Nassfeld is situated in the Carnic Alps of Carinthia, positioned directly on the border between Austria and Italy. The village of Tröpolach acts as the central hub at the base of the mountain, while Sonnenalpe Nassfeld offers a higher altitude setting directly on the mountain pass. Tröpolach is the primary destination for those seeking a lively social scene at the end of the day, as it contains the highest concentration of bars and large social venues. Sonnenalpe Nassfeld is better suited for visitors who prioritize immediate slope access and a variety of dining options that combine Austrian and Italian cusine. The resort infrastructure makes it easy for both high-altitude lodges and valley-level establishments to access restaraunts and entertainment.
