Event Participation Disclaimer & Waiver of Liability

By registering for and/or participating in this skiing event (the “Event”), you (“the Participant”)
acknowledge, agree, and accept the following terms and conditions:

Assumption of Risk
Skiing is an inherently hazardous activity that carries significant risks of personal injury, property
damage, and, in extreme cases, permanent disability or death. By choosing to participate, you
voluntarily assume full responsibility for all such risks, whether known or unknown, and whether arising
from your own actions, the actions of others, the condition of the venue, or otherwise.

Waiver and Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you hereby irrevocably release, discharge, and hold harmless
Piste, its officers, employees, contractors, volunteers, sponsors, affiliates, and venue operators
(collectively, the “Organisers”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, causes of action, or
expenses (including but not limited to legal fees) arising out of or related to your participation in
the Event, including but not limited to claims based on negligence, breach of duty, or dangerous
conditions, except in cases of proven gross negligence or wilful misconduct by the Organisers.


Technology Requirements
You must have a compatible smart device capable of running the Piste Application to participate.
Your device must also have the required sensors, and you must grant the App permission to use them.


Code of Conduct

You acknowledge that excessive speed does not contribute to scoring or competitive advantage within this
Event.

You agree not to engage in reckless, unsafe, or unsportsmanlike behaviour.

You agree to comply at all times with the rules and instructions issued by the Organisers and/or venue
staff.

Venue and Activity Restrictions
All Event activities must be conducted exclusively at the designated and approved venue. Participation
outside of this venue, or in violation of the Event rules, will result in immediate disqualification and
the forfeiture of all entries, prizes, or other entitlements.

Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Organisers from and against any claims, losses, or
liabilities brought by third parties as a result of your conduct or participation in the Event.

By participating, you confirm that:

You fully appreciate the risks involved.

You agree that this document is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by law, and that if
any portion is deemed invalid, the remainder shall continue in full force and effect.
