1. Promoter
This prize draw is organised and promoted by Piste, registered in England with its registered office at 30 Coppice Green Bracknell.
2. Eligibility
The prize draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over.
Employees of the Promoter and their immediate family members are excluded.
No purchase necessary. Entry is free.
Entrants must be present at the Northern Snow Show on the day of the draw to be eligible to claim the prize.
3. How to Enter
To enter, participants must download the Piste app and follow the on-screen instructions to register for the prize draw.
Only one entry per person per day is permitted.
The Saturday prize draw opens at 00:00 BST on 4 October 2025 and closes at 15:00 BST on 4 October 2025.
The Sunday prize draw opens at 00:00 BST on 5 October 2025 and closes at 15:00 BST on 5 October 2025.
Entries do not carry over between days; participants wishing to enter both draws must submit a new entry each day.
4. Prize
One winner will be selected for each draw.
Each prize consists of one Squishmallow plushie.
Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and no cash alternative will be offered.
5. Winner Selection and Notification
The winner of each draw will be chosen at random using a random number generator from all valid entries received before the closing time.
The Saturday draw will take place at 16:00 BST on Saturday, 4 October 2025.
The Sunday draw will take place at 16:00 BST on Sunday, 5 October 2025.
Winners will be announced in person during the Northern Snow Show.
Winners must be present in person at the time of announcement and collect their prize immediately. If a winner does not come forward, the Promoter reserves the right to conduct a further draw and award the prize to another eligible entrant.
6. Data Protection
Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will be processed in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy and applicable data protection laws (including GDPR).
Data will be used solely for the purposes of administering the prize draw unless entrants explicitly opt in to receive marketing communications.
7. General
The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw, amend, or suspend the prize draw at any time without notice, in the event of unforeseen circumstances or events beyond its control.
The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
The prize draw will be governed by the laws of England and Wales, and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
8. The Verifiably Random Selection Process
The winning entry will be determined by a random value derived from a hidden seed and salt.
The hidden seed value will be revealed after the final draw on the 5th October 2025, the hash of which has been published ahead of time to prevent tampering,
The salt will be the number of valid entries in the relevant draw.
The salted seed will be used in a deterministic random number generator and will be used for both draws.

In the event the winner is not present, their entry will be removed (Decreasing the number of entries by 1) and the above process will be repeated until a winner is found.

Competition Terms and Conditions
1. Promoter
This competition is organised and promoted by Piste, registered in England with its registered office at 30 Coppice Green, Bracknell, RG42 1TL.
2. Eligibility
The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over.
Proof of age may be required.
Employees of the Promoter, their immediate families, and anyone professionally connected with the competition are excluded from entry.
3. Safety and Venue Rules
All participants must wear helmets and appropriate protective gear.
Entrants must comply at all times with the rules and regulations of The Snow Centre venue.
Each entrant must hold a valid lift pass for the duration of their participation.
Participants may use either their own skis or those provided by the venue.
A waiver of liability must be signed before taking part. Failure to sign will result in exclusion.
4. How to Enter
Entrants must register via the competition app using a valid email address.
Each participant must provide their own smartphone, which must be compatible with the app (requiring a functioning barometer, accelerometer, and gyroscope, and running the latest available OS version).
By registering, entrants consent to their performance data being collected for the purposes of the competition.
5. Competition Mechanics
The competition runs during the Northern Snow Show from Saturday 4 October 2025 to Sunday 5 October 2025.
The competition closes at 15:00 BST on Sunday, 5 October 2025.
Participants may complete multiple runs within the competition period.
Each run will be scored by the app, which calculates vibration data from the phone’s sensors.
Points are awarded in inverse proportion to vibration intensity. The winner is the participant with the highest score from a single run recorded during the competition period.
6. Winner Selection and Prize
The winner will be announced at the event immediately after the competition closes on Sunday, 5 October 2025.
The winner must be present in person at the time of announcement and collect the prize immediately. If the winner does not come forward, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to the next eligible participant.
The prize consists of one Squishmallow plushie. No cash or alternative prize is available.
7. Publicity
The winner’s name will be published on the Promoter’s website.
By entering, participants agree to take part in reasonable publicity relating to the competition if requested.
8. Data Protection
Personal data (such as email addresses) will be collected solely for the purposes of administering the competition and contacting the winner, unless entrants explicitly opt in to receive marketing communications.
Data will be processed in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy, available at pisteapp.com/legal.
9. General
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who breaches these terms or behaves in an unsafe or unsportsmanlike manner.
The Promoter is not responsible for:
equipment failures, including smartphone malfunctions or software incompatibility;
injuries, accidents, or damages incurred during participation (covered under the signed waiver).
The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw the competition if circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this unavoidable.
The Promoter’s decision is final and binding; no correspondence will be entered into.
