Our Favorite 5 runs in Livigno

Heading off to Livigno this year? Don't miss these top runs. From family friendly blues to black power pounders we know you'll find a favourite in the mix. We really enjoyed these 5 runs!

5. Cassana

If you've ever wanted to dip your toes into some tree-line off-piste, Cassana offers the perfect opportunity. There's a small wooded section in the middle of the run where you can play around and practice the tight turns needed to navigate through trees—without venturing too far from the piste.

The run is situated in a quiet area in the resort with it's own dedicated gondola so you'll be back up in no time for another one of the branching paths to explore.

Later in the season, they even build a unique ice tunnel for skiers to glide through, adding a fun twist. This easy blue run is ideal for wrapping up your day, and with a cozy wooden on-piste après ski bar at the bottom, you can relax with some Aperol spritz while waiting for friends to catch up.

4. Ski School Area

Hear me out—even if your days on beginner slopes feel like a distant memory, there's still plenty of fun to be had at the often-overlooked Ski School area in Livigno. This playful zone offers much more than just a place for newbies to learn the basics. It’s a hidden gem for skiers and boarders looking to sharpen their skills or just have some lighthearted fun.

Featuring:

  • Timed Slalom: Test your speed and precision with this timed course, perfect for adding a bit of competition to your day.
  • Automated Slalom Race for Two: Challenge a friend to a head-to-head slalom race. With an automated timing system, you'll be able to see who truly has the best turns and quickest reflexes.
  • Beginner and Intermediate Jumps: These gentle jumps offer a fun introduction to freestyle, allowing both beginners and intermediates to catch some air without the risk of more advanced features.
  • Beginner and Intermediate Boxes: If you’ve ever wanted to try your hand at jibbing, this is the perfect spot. The beginner and intermediate boxes offer a safe way to practice your balance and technique on rails.
  • Night skiing: If you couldn't get your fill in during the day, why not try a spot of night skiing here, where the local teens show off their pow bursts and ollies.

Whether you're teaching the kids or just looking to mix up your day, this area brings out a playful side that even seasoned skiers and snowboarders will enjoy. It’s a great way to practice tricks and add some variety to your Ski Holiday.

3. Yepi

Mountains can be full of surprises, but a downed fighter jet probably wasn’t what you expected to find! Yet, perched at 2,000m is an Italian Fiat G.91 from 1956, now resting on the slopes. Ski by, snap some unique selfies, and marvel at this unexpected relic. As you continue along the Yepi run, you'll glide across a ridge that offers breathtaking views of the valley below. If you're feeling adventurous, you can veer off into some deep powder before rejoining the main piste.

For families, there’s a bonus—a beginner-friendly ski park just to the right of the run, perfect for little ones looking to practice their first jumps and boxes!

2. Paradisin

Paradisin Piste

Been a bit naughty? Prepare for your punishment on this beast of a powder-packed run. Paradisin is left entirely at the mercy of nature, with towering 3-foot moguls that will have you eating snow if you're not careful. If you do stack it the lift dwellers above you will be sure to cheer you on.

It’s wild, untamable, and an absolute blast. Just make sure to save some extra leg strength, because this relentless run doesn’t let up!

We were so battered that we completely forgot to snap a photo — guess you’ll just have to see it for yourself 😉.

1. Diagonale

Diagonale offers arguably the best view in the whole resort, taking you from the highest point in Livigno down, the untouched beauty of a pristine snowscape is on full display here.

However, be cautious - the narrow trail hugs the mountain with no barriers to prevent a drop-off, so you'll want to stay sharp on your way down.

It's also one of the more difficult to reach pistes requiring you take the sometimes closed Blesaccia 2 lift.
