Piste keeps stopping
This is a really common issue on android, so much so we wrote a handy guide! Simply follow the instructions for your make of phone. If your phone is not listed: Best places to check are "Battery Management" and turn off any 'background management' or 'Optimizations' for Piste. Or Pin Piste in your app switcher (This allows it to run with your screen off). Don't worry! Piste is really efficient at managing battery usage itself.

A Run / Lift is incorrect
No problem, simply tap the incorrect run and scroll to "Report a problem" fill in the short form and
it'll get fixed.
Alternatively you can email report@pisteapp.com with a description of your
problem
What does premium give me?
For up to date details check the premium screen in the app. The features as of September 2025 are:
- Unlimited resorts
- 3D map
- Session exporting
- Create groups of 20 members
- Join up to 5 ski groups
How do I use the 3D map?
Use the two finger vertical gesture on any map screen to adjust the tilt angle. The effect is best seen in areas
with mountains.
What happens when premium expires?
You will lose access to:
- 3d Map
- Session exporting
- Any groups you have joined or created will remain, however you will not be able to join or create new groups.
- New members will not be able to join your existing group if it exceeds the free member limit.
- You will not be able to add additional resorts if you have exceeded the free resort limit.
Which resorts support lift statuses?
Live data is a very new feature and only available in select resorts.
When installing a resort the new
live data section will inform you if the resort is compatible.
